Welcome to LA Dermatology

AnteAGE® MD Exosomes
in Baton Rouge, LA

One of the most asked-about additions to our cosmetic menu isn’t a treatment at all. It’s what goes on your skin in the last five minutes of your appointment.

AnteAGE® MD Exosome Solution is a professional-only topical serum that our providers apply to the surface of the skin immediately after certain in-office procedures. We offer it at our Laser & Cosmetic Center as an optional add-on to SkinPen® microneedling and Clear + Brilliant.

About Flexile Classic

What are exosomes?

Exosomes are extracellular vesicles — extremely small packets released by cells, carrying proteins, lipids and genetic material. They are one of the most actively studied subjects in cell biology right now, and interest in them has carried over into professional skincare, where exosome-containing solutions are used as topical serums.

It is a genuinely new category, and the science is still developing. We would rather tell you that plainly than oversell it.

About AnteAGE® MD Exosome Solution

AnteAGE is one of the more established names in professional skincare, and their MD line is sold only to credentialed providers. Here is what the product actually is:

  • A hybrid formulation derived from human bone marrow and human umbilical cord stem cell sources
  • Ten billion exosomes per vial, in a phosphate buffered saline base with trehalose
  • Shipped freeze-dried and reconstituted with its diluent at the time of your appointment, never premixed in advance
  • Paired with a hyaluronic acid diluent
  • Labeled by the manufacturer for topical cosmetic use only
  • Available exclusively through certified AnteAGE MD providers

How we use it

Exosome Solution is not a standalone appointment. It is a finishing step, applied to the surface of the skin once your procedure is complete.

With SkinPen® microneedling

Our most popular pairing, and the one most patients ask for by name. Added to your SkinPen appointment at the end of the session.

With Clear + Brilliant

Applied following Clear + Brilliant, our gentlest resurfacing option.

Your provider reconstitutes the vial in the room, applies it to the treated area, and that’s it. It adds only a few minutes to your appointment and does not change your recovery or your aftercare instructions.

Is it right for you?

Exosome Solution is entirely optional. Every treatment we pair it with works exactly as it always has without it, and no one at our practice will push you toward it.

It may not be appropriate if you are pregnant or nursing, if you have an active infection or breakout in the treatment area, or if you have known sensitivities to any component of the solution. Tell your provider about your full history at your consultation, and ask them directly whether they would recommend it for you. If the honest answer is that it isn’t necessary for what you’re trying to achieve, that’s what you’ll hear.

Frequently asked questions

What are exosomes?

Exosomes are extracellular vesicles — very small packets released by cells that carry proteins, lipids and genetic material. In professional skincare, exosome-containing solutions are used as topical serums applied to the skin’s surface.

Which treatments can I add it to?

We offer it as an optional add-on to SkinPen® microneedling and Clear + Brilliant. It is not offered as a standalone appointment.

Does it add downtime to my treatment?

No. It adds a few minutes to your appointment and does not change your recovery timeline or your aftercare instructions, which stay the same as they would be for your procedure on its own.

Does it hurt?

No. It is applied to the surface of the skin like any serum, after your procedure is finished.

Who should not have it?

We generally do not recommend it during pregnancy or nursing, or if you have an active infection or breakout in the treatment area. Your provider will review your history with you and tell you whether it’s appropriate.
