    HOW DOES VBEAM® PERFECTA WORK?

The VBeam Perfecta Laser uses the Pulse Dye Laser (PDL) technology to safely target melanin pigmented skin areas. Before the laser pulse is activated, the patented Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD) creates a cooling mist to protect your skin. Each laser pulse emits 8 evenly spaced micro pulses to create consistent results.

Each laser pulse emits 8 evenly spaced micro pulses to create consistent results.

V-Beam emits a burst of light tuned precisely to target the red pigment in blood and blood vessels without harming other parts of the skin. Therefore, this laser can remove dilated blood vessels while leaving the surrounding area unaffected. A brief pulse of a cold spray precedes the pulse of light, further protecting the skin from injury.

Vbeam reduces redness and other vascular issues to impart a youthful, healthy, and even-toned complexion. Results are usually visible immediately following treatment, but because Vbeam can treat a range of conditions, the extent of improvement and healing time varies on your issues. For example, red veins respond to treatment more favorably than blue veins. Also, pigmentation areas may appear darker for up to a week after treatment until new spot-free skin surfaces.

Each pulse of light feels like the snapping of a small rubber band, while the cool spray of the laser minimizes this brief discomfort. A topical numbing cream may be purchased in our office.
